Medical Services Available for NCAA Regional Cross Country Meet

On behalf of the Emory University Sports Medicine Staff, congratulations and welcome to Atlanta.

The Emory University Athletic Training Staff will be available to help with pre-meet taping and treatments as needed. This assistance is available provided your Certified Athletic Trainer completes a written request and it is sent with the athlete or coach. Please include the names of athletes to be treated, their diagnosis, treatment protocol, and special requests. We request that you bring any necessary supplies.

Your Licensed and/or Certified Athletic Trainer will be provided access to all modalities.

Please notify us ASAP if your team will not be traveling with a Licensed and/or Certified Athletic Trainer so that proper staffing can be arranged.

Please note the following:

• A Certified Athletic Trainer will be present during course inspection from 1:00 p.m. -- 5:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 10th, as well as race day from 9:00 a.m. until conclusion.

• The Emory Athletic Training Room will be open for treatments the following times:
Friday Nov. 10th -- 10:00 a.m. till 7:00 p.m.
Saturday Nov. 11th -- 7:00 a.m. till 9:00 a.m.

• The following modalities will ONLY be available at the Emory Athletic Training Room:
Whirlpool
Hydrocollator
Electrical Stimulation
Ultrasound

• The following items will be available on-site:
Injury Ice
Basic First Aid Supplies
Water
Cups
