Adam
Goucher, originally from Colorado Springs, graduated from the University
of Colorado with a degree in communications. While with the Buffaloes,
Adam had a dominant collegiate career, capped by his winning the 1998
NCAA Cross Country Championships. Adam's early career was also successful
as he ran 13:11 for 5000m and won the 2000 Olympic Trials. Since 2000,
he has been plagued with repeated injuries and health problems. Still,
with the fastest PR of any of the runners, Adam cannot be counted
out of any race he's in.
