Matt Lane, originally from Yarmouth, Maine, graduated from William & Mary in 2001 with a degree in economics and music. Currently training under Coach Frank Gagliano (Gags) in Palo Alto with the Nike Farm Team, Matt has developed into one of America's top 5k runners. As a senior in college, Matt placed fourth at the 2000 Olympic Trials, missing the Olympic Team by one spot. Matt enters 2000 hoping that four more years of experience can propel him into the top three and a spot at Athens.
